Daily A Noble Thought - May 01PositivityWhatever you get, are the results of your earlier actions committed so far; understanding this concept, resultantly resolve to do only good things in future; think only good that let me spend my whole strength, my full physical energy for that; if you think so, that’s positive thinking, positive side. Negative means break or resistance. The positivity without any resistance would yield more and more benefits. In that manner, whatever you think, it would beneficially result so. Hence, everybody should make their thinking good. When we say ‘I would help others, to the extent possible I would go on helping others’ it would pour like fountain without subsiding down. When you help others so, from where would you do that? We give from the stock only, we do what we have. If it is not there, you may not be doing so, isn’t it? Hence, it would be go on coming as long as you do. It would grow in good fashion. If you get wisdom ever, if you use wisdom, you would derive satisfaction in service; life would also be luminous. If a man with good thinking, attempt one step, it is said that God would take ten steps towards him. What it means here, it is just enough if your mind wishes so. Fraction demands totality supplies. Because, stock is only there. What would happen if we come to a stage, when we would not expect anything from anybody? If anybody with good thinking, clear mind, sits some place that almighty would take care of him, to fulfill his needs help would come across from all directions.- Vethathiri Maharishi

Two quotes sticking in my mind today. Both have to do with appreciating the things that we do not and cannot understand. One is religious. One could be seen as religious by some, depending on your flavor.1. The Prophet–On Silence–Kahlil Gibran"You do not see, nor do you hear, and it is well. The veil that clouds your eyes shall be lifted by the hands that wove it.And the clay that fills your ears shall be pierced by those fingers that kneaded it.And you shall see.And you shall hear.Yet you shall not deplore having known blindness, nor regret having been deaf. For in that day you shall know the hidden purposes in all things. And you shall bless darkness as you would bless light."The second comes from someone you might know a little better...2. “You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backward. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.” ~ Steve JobsI feel like there is a profound need to understand things. I have been thinking about that a lot.In the moment, a true sense of understanding feels imperative. If I do not know why something is the way it is, then I am lost. But it turns out that being lost is really just a state of normalcy, it is the fundamental state of existence. You are in motion, but without direction...and that's OK.Connecting the dots will never work if you don't take the time to draw them to begin with. And it turns out, that as you draw those seemingly abstract lines, connecting those randomly dispersed dots, an image appears that you think makes sense but really...its still just as random as ever.Knowing, or at least believing, that the ultimate picture you produce with your life will take form allows each metaphorical "brush stroke" to be more enjoyable. And who knows, why does it even have to be a brush stroke? Paint with your fingers! Through colors against the wall. Rip it up and start over. Take chances.Happy Thursday!

20th December 2023Afraid of life being judged by others one keeps trying to hide or suppress emotions to present themselves to be accepted by others. Always giving importance to opinions of others one have to keep trying to be most presentable & liked by others. Every one are engaged in their own thoughts & activities & they do not have interest in what others are thinking about us. We all have own problems & purposes to live. It is only fear inside our life that keeps us worrying what other people say about us. Every one have their own problems & weakness for their life & they are engaged with them only. When we give importance to opinions of others we cannot explore own life. We have own principles & purposes which is more important than how we are being judged by others. Whatever way we are doing as well as whatever way we look is way that needs to be cared more. When we have lack of confidence & courage we seek assurance and support from others. This makes us to be better in eye's of others. Support seeking behaviour always makes us to give importance to the opinions of others. When we look inside out own life their are tremendous potential power & we have the ability to act in our own mridul way. Respecting is better quality which is not related to what others think about us. We need to give priority for what we are doing to be done in better way. Concentrating on own way of activities our performance becomes more prominent & attract attention by others with better opinions. Performance are affected when we keep thinking about what people are saying. It is distractions where mind remains divided into different fragments of thought. Creativity becomes unique only when we do them in most sincere mridul way. We have to be honest to life & respect own way of living. People have little concern limited to needs for which one is associated. Our dance & singing becomes more different with concentrated way. When we sing for own life it becomes more melodious for all. GOOD MORNING. Afraid of being judged by others we often keep trying to hide or suppress our emotions. The simplest definition of temperance is “the virtue which moderates in us the inordinate desire for sensible pleasure, keeping it within the limits assigned by reason and faith.” (Divine Intimacy). Before the Fall, all of the physical senses were in complete harmony and controlled by reason. The first man never became compulsively obsessed with eating or sex or getting drunk. He never got addicted to anything, and he never experienced unhealthy cravings. But after sin entered the picture, all of the physical senses, by nature good and healthy, were unleashed and were no longer controlled by reason. Our powers of self-mastery were lost, and we began to drift naturally to unhealthy excess in the pursuit of physical pleasure. These unleashed senses make us in many ways like a child set free in a candy shop. All we can think about is the pleasure of the moment, and we gorge ourselves to excess without worrying about the consequences. Of course, we always get sick later and regret our indulgence, but we gorge anyway. The virtue of temperance, on the other hand, takes our wildly free senses and pulls them back into control, harnessing them with the reigns of reason. When faced with the temptation to excessive physical pleasure, temperance allows us to keep from excess. In other words, this virtue enables us to enjoy a beer without getting drunk, or eat a piece of cake without becoming a sugar addict.

Has the Law of Attraction been oversimplified? And as a result skeptically dismissed?"Believe and you shall receive."Some weekend reading has led me to believe it is not that simple. Simply wishing for something or wanting something isn't enough to manifest it. ✨You have to actually become the person who naturally attracts your desires.❌The LoA isn't a magic solution to achieve what you want in life.❌The LoA isn't about living in a bubble of positivity. And to really understand the LoA, you have to first understand the Law of Vibration. The Law of Vibration = we can attract anything we want by resonating at the same vibrational frequency of our desires. (More on the LoV: https://lnkd.in/dtDX4YwJ)"You don't attract what you want. You attract what you are. We may say we want something or we will receive something, but we will only attract what we are vibrating at the same frequency with. It's all about harmonious vibration - so choose your thoughts and feelings carefully." - My Positive Mind journalSimply put 👉 You attract what you are. And it all begins with your thoughts 💭Not the thoughts that you just tell yourself to believe. The thoughts that you actually embody.Make it a great week 🙌#foodforthought#lawofvibration#lawofattraction

If you've been waiting for a sign, this is it! It is time to be Stunningly Courageous & Genuine.——#TheApproach: “Belief plus Behaviour is the recipe to Becoming”Take a few moments to imagine an invisible Watch on your palm. You notice it's incredibly unique and skilfully crafted to perfection. A closer inspection reveals that the most extended needle is the hour hand. This needle symbolises the person you BECOME, as its movements are invisible to an observant eye. To consciously alter the hour hand, visualise having accomplished your wish. I have it, and I'm proud of myself for achieving it! Before you know it, the minute hand is approaching, and it represents your BELIEFS because you discuss them regularly, even if only to yourself. The most effective way to align your beliefs to your wish is to imagine that you truly deserve it, it was always intended for you, and all your negative assumptions are false. By this time, the seconds hand has been passing your BECOMING and Belief needles rapidly and consistently. It represents your BEHAVIOUR. Take action now by taking out your diary and scheduling a daily recurring time slot (even if it is just 15 minutes) beginning tomorrow, titled THE-WISH. You will ponder on ideas, research, and set small tasks during this time. It is that simple. Make it happen!Love & Blessings…

Good morning my companion. The Morning Mantra- 1355. Dr. Satheesh Kumar Menon.WHEN U CAN STOP EXPECTING PEOPLE TO BE PERFECT, U CAN LIKE THEM FOR WHO THEY ARE. Donld miller. In a world often obsessed with the pursuit of perfection, U tend to set unrealistically high standards for urself & others. This relentless pursuit can lead to a cycle of disappointment, self-criticism, & strained relationships. However, the moment U shift ur perspective & accept that nobody is perfect, U open urself to a more compassionate & fulfilling way of interacting with the world. This acceptance doesn't mean lowering ur standards or endorsing mediocrity. Instead, it's about recognizing that each person is a unique blend of strengths & weaknesses. By embracing these imperfections, U simply create deeper connections & genuine relationships. It helps U to appreciate the quirks & idiosyncrasies that make each individual special & interesting.Yes, beauty of humanity lies in its diversity & imperfection. When U embrace their flaws U not only like others for who they are but also learn to love urself, imperfections & all. This leads to a more authentic, joyful, & compassionate way of living, where U celebrate the imperfect journey of life with grace & understanding.Stop expecting perfection, be more forgiving & less judgmental, creates a supportive environment where people feel safe to be themselves, express their thoughts, & share their vulnerabilities without fear of being judged.

365 Days of healing & joyDay 32Daily affirmation:Today, I will investigate how my choices have shaped my life.People are always blaming their circ*mstances for being what they are. The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circ*mstances they want, and if they can't find them, make them. - George Bernard ShawIf only the weather were better, people were friendlier, there were more job opportunities, less traffic, the family lived nearer, the taxes were lower, and the morning sun didn't shine on the wrong side of the house.. we'd probably be happy right where we are. The problem is there's too much pressure here, too many frustrations and irritations. The answer seems simple enough - move to another house or city, or even another country. The problem is that when we move, we take ourselves along. Where we are is where we have chosen to be. If we don't "fix our chooser," we’ll choose the same people and predicaments again and again. There is enormous freedom in accepting this truth. When we do, we claim the power to control the quality of our own lives and to create our own destiny.

If you think your habits end with you….you’re wrong. 🤔 Our habits & disciplines, positive or negative, trickle & sometimes pour into the lives of others. Here’s what you see in this picture:🏃♂️ my amazing friend, triathlete, runner & fellow @jesuitnola Blue Jay, @johnmorvant3 & I doing one of our weekly 5-6mi runs🐎 Colt has been joining us since the summer. We lift weights 🏋️♂️ beforehand, then he bikes with us while we run. I’m sure proud of him to waking up early to stay committed to his goals, & he also thoroughly enjoys the fellowship we have, as do we as well!🙏 right before we took this picture on the beautiful & majestic Tchefuncta river, we partook in the fellowship of conversational prayer, whereby each of us prayed from our hearts. I have to say, Colt’s prayer is always the best, & inspires us & brings us the joy of childlike faith.💪 you’re the average of the 5 people you hang around most. Hanging with these guys definitely makes me better, & having Colt around strong, positive influences in his life are integral to the young man he is, & is becoming. I say all that to say a couple things. Our kids do as we do, not always what we say, so make sure to lead from the front, by example. Leaving a healthy legacy in our families & generations is important, so make sure you keep that in mind & let it drive your actions, & in some instances, inaction. Just some points to ponder. Have a great Friday!
